About Academy:
AS Monaco FC Academy is
one of the oldest academies in France, its history started from 1975. The
academy of AS Monaco FC is classified by the National Technical Direction, for
many years, the top three French academies, as evidence by his second place in
the latest ranking published by the National Technical Direction.
Boys join the Academy at the age of
12, and in average stay there from 4 to 6 seasons. Each year 4-5 young players
sign their first professional contract in the club.
A sharp recruitment, an elite center,
a personalized follow up, a competent support impregnated with the values of
the club, a strict disciplinary framework, training always inspired by the very
high level – all these let pupils of the Academy maximize their individual
talant and prepare them for the demands
of playing first team AS Monaco and prifessional career.
The coach of Monaco-97 is a former French footballer Emmanuel Dos Santos. His team is the leader of its sub-group on the current National Championship. By the results of the group stage the best teams will play the crunch matches to define the best team in France in that age.
At the beggining of March "Monaco"
won silver on the home tournament, where "Stade Rennais", "Royal Standard de Liège" and "Inter" from
Milan took part.
The representatives of Youth French Team
are the midfielder Tristan Muyumba, forwards Irvin Cardona and Guevin
Tormin.
