By outplaying Scottish Celtic in Spartak Cup second match day’s game of Barcelona has become the sole leader in the tournament.

The first half of the game was dominated by the blue and garnets. Already in the 11th minute of the match they finished a splendid ball kicking off with a goal. Torras Krespo successfully finalized the incisive cross of his partner, who managed to escape from two Celtic’s guards along the left side. Barcelona could have gone to the break with a more formidable dominance, but the goal post played for the benefit of the Scottish several times. Moreover, during the last minute of the half the ball rebounded from the near post to the opposite one and then moved to the field.  

After having a rest, Celtic team improved its play noticeably. During some game stages Luish Arauzu’s mentees demonstrated even better performance than their opponents from eminent Barcelona Academy; they had been attacking persistently and could have really scored a goal. The Scottish team came short of just a trifle at the final phase: either shots several meters far from the net were not strong enough, or the ball was close to the post.    

This victory with the minimum score has brought extra three points to Barcelona’s collection, as a result the team reinforced its leading position in the tournament standings. Celtic with its one point after two rounds is ranked fifth.
