Spartak footballers were in control from the first minute of the game and could organize several promising attacking manoeuvres. However just like in the previous games, our team was not able to retain their success. In many situations French defenders interrupted the attacks. During the game Kogoniya could make a left pass towards the partners near the penalty area, but decided to strike himself – unfortunately with the lack of exactity.

After the first half our footballers played attacking football rarely and started to make more mistakes. On the other hand the competitors became more intense keeping the goalkeeper Anton Mitrushkin frequently busy. Anton was able to cover up for a team, punching the ball away from dangerous situations.

One of the most dangerous attacking maneuvers by Spartak was started Vladislav Oslonovskiy. After outplaying several French footballers on the right flank he passed the ball to Alexander Kogoniya, who was again somewhat out of luck.

Let’s keep the fingers crossed for our guys! On Sunday they will play against Borussia.

It is worth being mentioned that Emmanuel Emenike was today among the other guests of the VIP- tribune. After the game he thanked Spartak team members for their performance and made several photos.
