Spartak U17 team smashed Atalanta in the last match of the Spartak Cup.

Hosts guaranteed the first place the day before so this match could only affect the struggle for bronze. Anyway Spartak was eager to finish home tournament positively.

They showed it vividly scoring right on the 1st minute. Svyatoslav Kozhedub hit the post and Vyacheslav Frolov was fist for the rebound. Also Kozhedub assisted Ilya Golyatov on the 14th minute as the last rushed into the box and scored the second.

Second half left Atalanta some hope to change situation but it nearly disappeared as after the send-off. Spartak made benefit of this numeric advantage rather soon as Vladislav Shitov scored after his brother’s Vitaly pass. This goal allowed him to top the list of best strikes of the tournament together with Golyatov.
