Spartak U17 team smashed Chinese Beijing Guoan 9:2 in the inaugural match of the Spartak Cup 2019.

Red-white started aggressively and reached their first pure chance in less then 10 minutes when Ilia Goliatov hit the crossbar and Sviatoslav Kozhedub was about to score the rebound. Anyway Spartak youths’ patience was rewarded in 23th minutes as Alexey Davydov crossed and Golyatov turned it home. Three minutes late our skipper added assist for Daniil Grigorev. And then doubled personal data with spectacular volley after Stepan Melnikov’s cross. 3:0 after the first half!

More action after half-time. Beijing Guoan got one back as Gao Jian fulfilled penalty shot. Moreover Vyacheslav Vashkevich’s team lost Nikolay Genchu being sent-off soon after. Nevertheless Spartak scored three in the next 8 minutes. Vladislav Shitov and Maxim Laikin – both came for substitution – and Melnikov secured the places in match score-sheet.

Encouraged red-white rushed for more goals as the Chinese counterattacked successfully with Zhang Zixin at the helm – 6:2. Luckily Spartak youths didn’t stop and scored three more by the final whistle – Shitov scored once more and Kozhedub scored twice.
