Seventeen players who participated in previous Spartak Cups (in 2012 and 2013), won the first draw of the UEFA Youth League with "Barcelona". In the final April 14th, 2014 the Catalans beat Portuguese "Benfica" 3-0. One of the goals, by the defender Rodrigo Tarin who also opened the score at the 7th minute, has been registered in the ledger of the Spartak Cup’s participants. This year, a total of 12 players from Barcelona attending the UEFA Youth League, won our first tournament which was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Spartak Moscou football Club. The spanish holders of the honorable trophy became 5 times champions of the Spartak Cup-2013.
