Francisco Javier Garcia Pimienta, senior coach of Barcelona junior team, who has won Spartak Cup with his mentees for the second consecutive year, shared his impressions of the tournament. 

- Many thanks to Spartak for perfect tournament arrangements! Spartak Cup has gathered the strongest teams in Europe for the second consecutive year. This year the composition of participants differed from the previous year, but it was very good as well. I’m glad that in confrontation with such opponents we’ve managed to repeat last year’s triumph and to gain the champion cup.   

- What can you say about the team that represented Spartak Academy in this year’s tournament?

- Spartak has got the great team; it was exciting and challenging to play with it. Each match performed by them was engrossing and bright. The Spartak guys are justly among the top-3 prizewinners.  

- You together with your mentees born in the year of 1995 already visited Moscow in the last year; surely the majority of footballers born in the year of 1996 are here for the first time. What are their impressions of the city?

- The guys are fascinated by Moscow. They couldn’t see everything due to the tough playing schedule, that is why we are very grateful for the organizers for the opportunity to get an overview of your remarkable city on Sunday. The excursion allowed not only to visit the most beautiful sites of Moscow, but to learn the history of the Russian capital as well.
