In the last match of Spartak Cup international junior tournament Spartak Club members were victorious over Dynamo Kiev and thanks to that became bronze medalists of the competitions.

The match of the young Moscovites and Kievers hasn’t been inferior to games of the 1980s in terms of its intensity of emotions and perfect beauty of playing, when such confrontation was legendary. The teams came to the field with egregious state of mind: Spartak, that after Celtic’s victory over the English team had lost any chances to move to the second position in the table, sought to assert its entitlement to the bronze medals, whereas the Kievers, who performed very decently in the tournament, attempted to get out from the bottom of the tournament table.   

Despite the modest ultimate scoring the game happened to be extremely rich in terms of events, full of goal-scoring chances, which the footballers of both teams could not realize for a long time. From the corner flag Panteleev rolled the ball to Zelimkhan, the latter entered the penalty area and kicked – the ball passed directly to forward Yuriev’s foot, and he hit the target.   

1:0 – Spartak gained the victory in the essential confrontation with Kiev, our team came third and became the only team in the tournament that had lost none of matches in the competitions.
