English Tottenham, losing ground to Dynamo Kiev during the course of the game, has managed to achieve victory at the end of the match.

Goals: Priyimak, Onoma (penalty) – Besedin 

Dynamo that started the tournament with a convincing victory over Benfica, in the same manner commenced a match against their English opponents. A rapid goal of Artem Besedin when falling after an excellent pass of his team partner reinforced Kievers’ confidence. The first half proceeded at the dictation of Ukrainian team footballers, but they failed to widen their breakaway before the break.    

In the second half of the match the game landscape changed, Tottenham recaptured the initiative: it had been persistently attacking after the break. The majority of its attempts to score goals to Dynamo ended in failure, and only one minute before the end of the normal playing time the English team coped to level the match. The success resulted from a corner kick; trying to carry the ball out from the penalty area Dynamo guards sent it into the net. And already during the added time only thanks to a foul the Kievers managed to stop opponent team’s footballer in the penalty area – without a moment’s hesitation the referee indicated to the point. It was inexcusably for Tottenham to miss such achance; Onoma was precise when kicking from the penalty spot – 2:1.
