About team: Sochaux U-17 team includes several players from junior national teams: Danilo Sarkich (Montenegro), Valanten Ioz (Switzerland), Marco Ilemaaritra, Selim Ilgaz (both – France) as well as Nicola Senzemba born in the year of 1996 (France). In the current season the U-17 team (players born in the years of 1995 and 1996) is the fourth in the championship; it follows Auxerre, Lion and Saint-Etienne. In August 2011 Sochaux U17 team won the large international tournament in Quevilly. In 2009-2010 season the current composition of Sochaux U17 team became the champion of France. In 2010-2011 season the team was among medalists.

About Academy:

Sochaux Academy was founded on August 5, 1974. In 2009-2010 season the academy was recognized as the best in France and ranked 1st in the professional academy rating. As of 2010-2011 season the academy was ranked 4th among top French academies. The recent rating of the French Football Federation for 2011-2012 season assigned the 3rd rank to Sochaux Academy.
